-
- I had a Zoom V34i that I bought after success with their 14400 model.
-
- Mistake! Even with the latest ROM upgrade it connected mostly at 24000 and
- 26400 and file transfers were not up to s[peeds of the US Robotics Sportster
- 33.6 and Motorola Power 28.8 I tested.
-
- I settled on the Motorola Power since it connected at 28800 more than the
- others, and the file transfers were solid and faster than the Zoom, about the
- same as the USR.
-
- Motorola is going to announce a 33.6 upgrade for the Power series in a few
- weeks, which will make them a finer modem!!
